It looks like the word's got round

Just a quick Emmy Awards mention.

I wasn't going to bother. The Emmy's rarely overly impress me, but this year, something happened...I liked some of the dresses. Nothing incredibly stylish. I mean, Lea Michelle wore a curtain. Lot's of prettiness though. What do you think?

Kelly Osbourne owned it. She may aswell have worn a tshirt with 'Luke Worrall, you are an idiot' written on it. Instead she wore this, and looked like a knockout.

Right what is there to say. She's gorgeous. Kind of wish the waist was a little more defined. The fact that it's not makes it a little disproportionate, given that it's desperately short on her unending pins.

She's so freakin CUTE!

No idea who she is. Love the colour. And the bodice is beautiful. Monique knows her shit.

Looks better than her daughter. The woman is a legend.

Forget about you and start discovering me

I declared my new found love for Drew Barrymore in Frock Candy. She looks incredible. Definitely my style crush of the moment.

It all began while watching her interview on Alan Carr Chatty Man.

You see, she wore the most beautiful shoes......

She also looked amazing here..

and here...

And she's funny. And she has amazing hair. And she has a lovely boyf.

But I have a problem.

She has been going round ruining gorgeous looks. With grey Trib Two's.

I mean, they are gorgeous shoes but almost any other colour would have worked.

Note to Drew: Pack more footwear.

Right how does she do it? Everytime. That's it. I'm going to steal her wardrobe.

There's something in the water at West Bev. What is going on with the stylish offerings of the 90210 girls! I love this and I can't really pick out a reason why. It just works, she's working it. I can't believe I just said that, how lame.

This was about Sienna's red dress. It's one of the most blogged about looks of the last week. But, she's in a photo with Twiggy. I couldn't not put that up. Love.

I've recently fallen in love with Drew Barrymore. She is amazeballs.

Putting all suspicions of a bias to rest. She looks gorgeous. Amazing. Whatever, I still dislike her immensely.

Fair to Middlin' Sure

God loves a tryer and Whitney certainly tries. It's a nice dress, it just doesn't suit her. The red lip is too harsh but she could have gotten away with it if her hair wasn't greased back into a Croydon facelift.

I'm not a Katy fan. But, credit where credit's due she can scrub up alright when she's not desperately trying to be 'quirky'. Awful earrings.

Worst

It's so very very Clueless, very dated, very bad. Is she wearing sheer stockings? The print is so cheep. The coordinated sunglasses and shoes are odd and make the bag look completely out of place and it was a strange enough choice already. Jewellery looks like something a six year old would choose. In fact, the whole look is very, '50's Barbie.' She must have bumped her head.

Sheer black tights are generally bad. Unless they're done in a grungy way. This outfit is not grungy. Boring, librarian patent shoes. I despise black and green. Weird neckline, hair just isn't nice, wrong shade of lipstick. She needs a new stylist. Immediately.

Friday is the day. Another bumper Frock Candy two week special. (Read: I'm lazy.)

No exhausted is the word. Work has taken it out of me.

My skin is a mess.

I don't think I can foresee a day when I won't smell like beer.

These bags under my eyes are reaching towards my chin.

I seem to always need sleep these days.

Enough moaning out of me. Craic was had.

A huge thank you to Hermia from achicknamedhermia and Zoe Wong of West129 eyewear. I am now the very proud winner of one of these beauties.

Now most people would use it for wayfarers like above. I'm far more practical. Never again will I spend half an hour looking for my glasses, only to realise that they're on top of my head. My life is approaching a simpler time.

Plus, they're so pretty.

Jaysus, when did she get so cool. How can she pull off that hat, and those sunglasses! Where did this look come out of! I may be style crushing on Ashlee Simpson. I think I need a lie down.

Oh it's gorgeous. It's so effortlessly beautiful. Came completely out of left field. Turns out the 90210 girls can cut it in the style stakes, if this is anything to go by anyway!

Everyone was hailing Lea Michelle as the most stylish thing to come out of Glee. I was never convinced. This has gone a long way towards winning me over. She looks gorgeous. Lose the side fringe though, before Tyra Banks freaks out on you.

SJP IN FLATS! Should have made the headlines. If that didn't, the Donna Karan jacket must have. Amazing as ever. Even when she dresses down she gets a thumbs up.

Fair to Middlin' Sure

Ok so, hair is a little too severe. Dress is a terrible material. Could be a better colour. Don't like that extra bit at the back or the bow at the front. It doesn't fit her properly. Shoes could have helped. These don't.

I think I would like this so much more without the leather waistcoat. And the leopard print is verging on tacky. Fortunately Kelly can pull off tacky in a way that others just can't. Great bag. Strange hair.

Worst

Sheer doesn't work like that Katie. Those boots are ridiculous. They look like part of a costume! I don't really know what else to say about this. A picture speaks a thousand words and all that.

Blue eyeshadow rarely works. Here is not an exception. Hair is too dark and looks fake. That dress is river island about 3 years ago. It's aging. Her tan is darker as you go down her body. Not a good look. Those boots are cool just not with this. Find a new stylist JoJo. I beg you.

Count the headlights on the highway

You may remember a previous post I did about September Issues. They are my favourite, cover wise. And well, yeah, content wise too!

The majority of them have been released now and although many impress I must say overall I'm kind of disappointed with what the big players of the fashion magazine world have to offer.

One thing I take issue with is the fact that, as the September issue is about current season trends more than most others, it is ridiculous how many covers are simply head shots. Little styling is on display and I find that disappointing. I wanna see some threads!

Many of you were a little sceptical about Halle Berry for Vogue. I shared a lot of these doubts but, I thought she's beautiful and if they pair her with Patrick Demarchelier it could work. Well they didn't Mario Testino was the man for the job and I have to say I love it. Her eyes look amazing and she is working that fro.

This is why I love W. It's pure fashion devoid of the commercialism that magazines like Vogue and Elle are subjected to. Only a true fashion follower will pick up a copy of W whereas you can flick through a copy of Vogue in a dentists waiting room! The red hair is striking and the minimalism of the black leather is unusual for a cover. It's intense and eye catching and will definitely be purchasing this issue of the strength of it!

Disappointed with this. I wanted to see a different Jennifer Anniston. They didn't even put her hair up. They should have chosen one of the Barbara Streisand esque editorial shots. Now that would have been a cover. The subscribers have it all. Don't get me wrong she looks gorgeous but what's new. Boring.

Her hair is nice. That's it. Disgraceful styling. She looks disproportionate and badly airbrushed. I was looking forward to this cover purely because I haven't seen a Julia cover in a long time. This is bad, really bad. (On closer inspection, I also like the jewellery)

Didn't mention Marie Claire in the last post. I never buy it so it slipped my mind. Two good covers. Drew is almost unrecognisable but, perhaps that's down to the fact that she has been airbrushed to a ridiculous extent. This is the kind of thing I wanted from Harpers Bazaar and Jen. Gorgeous dress. As is Mary Kates. I want. Will definitely buy that one. Especially since I've just seen 'Tim Gunn's outrageous diaries' written on the right. I <3>

Oh it's gorgeous. I knew it would be amazing. Because it's Gaga, and it's Vanity Fair. Never expected this. Love.

Other covers I like..quite a bit.

So as it turns out US Harpers Bazaar was the only disappointment. That Prada was made for January Jones.
