Forget I've never ever had it so sweet

When I saw the new Cadbury's Flake advert yesterday I actually stopped in my tracks. Now, I know, from Junior Cert Media Studies on English paper 1 and a year of Business Studies, that any ad that can catch your attention like that is a good 'un.
It is beautiful. And I had thought quite inspiring. But, there was that niggling feeling in the back of my mind. Is this deja vu or have I seen this before?
Turns out I had seen it before. Or at least something very similar. The peeps over at Alexander McQueen are contemplating suing the peeps at Cadburys, for ripping off this Kate Moss hologram from the 2006 show.
Now, I don't know but, I definitely see the similarities. Whether Cadburys creative team are followers of runway productions remains to be seen. There is no denying, however, that the two are very much alike.
What do you think? To sue or not to sue? That is the question.

  3. I suppose if I was the very talented cat who had masterminded the Kate Moss thing I'd be rightly p****d off that Cadbury's were using that... Intentional or not, you can't deny the huge similarities. I'd be suing.

But...How pretty! I was captivated by both. What is the piece of music behind the Kate Moss one? It reminds me of something out of Schindler's List.....??
