Sweet heat and the sweet lies

So I have been an absolute blogging disaster over the last while. I'm hoping to sort things out and get back into some sort of routine now that the job, apartment and general life situation is sorted. 

Now is my favourite time of year when it's getting colder and although I love summer clothes, especially this S/S I got stuck in and absolutely devoured tribal. It went to a ridiculous level. 

For winter, I want texture. Juxtaposing heavy, cosy materials while keeping the colours bright, and trying, although undoubtedly failing, to avoid black.

Ideally we could all brave the outdoors with the poise and apparent ease of the gorgeous Nadia of FrouFrouu...or even if we had the help of the New York Times Style or Russian Vogue teams and looked like this...

This is what I managed to crawl into pre-college trek Monday morning. Tell you one thing, that walk was minus banter.
