So, today I bought a ticket for my Graduation Ball. 

Never one to shy away from dressing for an occasion, this got me to thinking; gowns.

To me, when I think evening-wear, I think of this...

What I really, consistently, dream of is this, from Chanel Spring 2006 RTW.

The fact that after 5 years I still adore this means that I will track it down to get married in/ hang in my wardrobe and admire.

Unfortunately, my graduation night will not be on par with the Crillon Ball...

Dress shopping attack commences tomorrow at 11:00hours.

Sweet heat and the sweet lies

So I have been an absolute blogging disaster over the last while. I'm hoping to sort things out and get back into some sort of routine now that the job, apartment and general life situation is sorted. 

Now is my favourite time of year when it's getting colder and although I love summer clothes, especially this S/S I got stuck in and absolutely devoured tribal. It went to a ridiculous level. 

For winter, I want texture. Juxtaposing heavy, cosy materials while keeping the colours bright, and trying, although undoubtedly failing, to avoid black.

Penniless with only charms

All I want for Christmas is...

Sneaky feel and a peek through the wrapping paper tells me the dress is in the bag.

I'm going on holidays!

Bitta sun is just what the doctor ordered. Except, I didn't go to the doctor, and I doubt he would prescribe sun, unless of course what was ailing you was a severe deficiency of Vitamin D. Even then he'd probably tell you to take a couple of pills. What a ridiculous saying.

Either way, I'm off.

Holidays mean packing. Which, to me, means shopping.

Let the time pass 'cos we're never gettin' old

It has to be said my favourite SJP promo look is the Tokyo edition. It's so pretty. Miranda looks fairly foxaay too!

The promotion has been a fashion extravaganza. I'm particularily loving the vintage styles of Kristen Davis especially her London look. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the film yet. Exams and what not killin ma buzz. Tomorrow is the day so don't spoil it!

Free of exams I can plan my summer, and summer would not be that without a major wardrobe update. Only had a chance to scour Toppers and Urban Outfitters but so far this is what I have in mind.

Not exactly overly summery but, exactly what my wardrobe needs.

The cargo pants are Balmain. I love them like, in a, I want to have their little khaki babies kind of way.

Publishers, brace yourselves. This is my summer of actually writing a book instead of wasting time talking about it. I don't know where I'm going to go with it but, should be interesting. I may post little extracts on here to see what you think!

Finally, I know I don't normally go for this kind of song but, dammit Enrique you converted me. My summer tune, none of that Stereo Love crap. For me, its all about I like it.
