Jaysus, when did she get so cool. How can she pull off that hat, and those sunglasses! Where did this look come out of! I may be style crushing on Ashlee Simpson. I think I need a lie down.

Oh it's gorgeous. It's so effortlessly beautiful. Came completely out of left field. Turns out the 90210 girls can cut it in the style stakes, if this is anything to go by anyway!

Everyone was hailing Lea Michelle as the most stylish thing to come out of Glee. I was never convinced. This has gone a long way towards winning me over. She looks gorgeous. Lose the side fringe though, before Tyra Banks freaks out on you.

SJP IN FLATS! Should have made the headlines. If that didn't, the Donna Karan jacket must have. Amazing as ever. Even when she dresses down she gets a thumbs up.

Fair to Middlin' Sure

Ok so, hair is a little too severe. Dress is a terrible material. Could be a better colour. Don't like that extra bit at the back or the bow at the front. It doesn't fit her properly. Shoes could have helped. These don't.

I think I would like this so much more without the leather waistcoat. And the leopard print is verging on tacky. Fortunately Kelly can pull off tacky in a way that others just can't. Great bag. Strange hair.

Worst

Sheer doesn't work like that Katie. Those boots are ridiculous. They look like part of a costume! I don't really know what else to say about this. A picture speaks a thousand words and all that.

Blue eyeshadow rarely works. Here is not an exception. Hair is too dark and looks fake. That dress is river island about 3 years ago. It's aging. Her tan is darker as you go down her body. Not a good look. Those boots are cool just not with this. Find a new stylist JoJo. I beg you.

Frock Candy - 16.7.10

Yesterday, St Swithin's Day, it lashed. Like proper biblical Noahs Ark type rain. That's what we can expect for the next 40 days if legend be true. When it's raining like that, there is nothing better than being indoors, cuppa tae in one hand, chocolate in the other, and a loverly film on the box. I watched Romeo and Juliet. The one with Leonardo Di Caprio. Always hated how they set it in the modern day. This bit always wins me over though.

Anyway, back to fashion. Let's have a look, an envy and a bit of a ridicule at what people have been wearing where it isn't pouring from above.

SJP. THOSE SHOES. I love. Only she would walk around like this and that is why we love her. The dress, the bag, it's all so Sarah Jessica. Perfection. I love how she's holding a little pink jacket. It just a reminder that she's a mother of three who dresses like this. A mother with hired help, I grant you, but still. I also love how the steps to her home are like Carries. I just love it all.

First of two 90210 stars today. It's her hair and those shoes that win this for me. It's simple but simply beautiful. The bit of the bag you see is nice, like the loose laid back quality to the shirt. Plus I love all black on a sunny day. I wore all black yesterday, it wasn't the same.

I promise I won't put her in next week. Birkin. Skirt, Top. All winners. Would have prefered to see this with heels but, I understand my feet like a rest too.

Like her hair, make up and Aldo shoes.Tan is dodge. Is is just me or are her pins way darker than the rest of her? That dress is just like that topshop dress that everyone had last Christmas. You know the one. I can't find a picture. I'm sure one of your friends had it.

'This is not a photo opportunity' No AnnaLynne, no-one will want to photograph you sneaking out of your hot boyfriends house. Not at all. No shoes, perfect for creepin'. I like the fit of these jeans but not the fraying. Don't like the bag. T-shirt is just a statement. Hat and scarf are unnecessary but grand. Don't like the belt.

Worst

Oh. dear. God. Her lips. That is most definitely not her colour. Overly straightened, fake looking hair. That dress was purchased on Stacey Slaters market stall. As was the hideous crop jacket. Shoes look alright from this angle, aside from the colour. Oh it's bad. I mean she was never stylish but at least in a velour tracksuit we could excuse her as effortless.

Let the time pass 'cos we're never gettin' old

It has to be said my favourite SJP promo look is the Tokyo edition. It's so pretty. Miranda looks fairly foxaay too!

The promotion has been a fashion extravaganza. I'm particularily loving the vintage styles of Kristen Davis especially her London look. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the film yet. Exams and what not killin ma buzz. Tomorrow is the day so don't spoil it!

Free of exams I can plan my summer, and summer would not be that without a major wardrobe update. Only had a chance to scour Toppers and Urban Outfitters but so far this is what I have in mind.

Not exactly overly summery but, exactly what my wardrobe needs.

The cargo pants are Balmain. I love them like, in a, I want to have their little khaki babies kind of way.

Publishers, brace yourselves. This is my summer of actually writing a book instead of wasting time talking about it. I don't know where I'm going to go with it but, should be interesting. I may post little extracts on here to see what you think!

Finally, I know I don't normally go for this kind of song but, dammit Enrique you converted me. My summer tune, none of that Stereo Love crap. For me, its all about I like it.

In the morning I'll call you

Met Gala tonight. Should be interesting, it always is. Wild displays of couture, red carpet fashion like no other event. Cannot wait to see who and what shows up.

I'm sure everyone will remember Madonna in Louis Vuitton from last year.

Or SJP and the late Lee McQueen in Alexander McQueen from 2006.

Some memorable fashion moments could hopefully grace the red carpet tonight. Personally I'd be happy enough if people rocked up wearing some of these beauties.
